Almost 2000 years before Spike Lee’s movie Do the Right Thing, the Emperor/Philosopher Marcus Aurelius said, “if it is not right, do not do it…” For the Stoics doing the right thing was guided by the four virtues of Practical Wisdom, Courage, Temperance, and Justice.
