So much of our lives are lived in distraction. We are constantly reacting to the world around us. We get sucked into regrets of the past or anxiety about the future. We forget where we are in time and space. What if we accept some simple profound advice: be…here…now. How can we set aside constantly “doing” so as to cultivate respect for “being”? Can we remember the amazing fact of our existence on this fragile planet hurtling through space? Can we bring ourselves more fully present so we can be in the moment, comfortable with ourselves and with others? Hugh Taft-Morales explores how this all fits into Ethical Humanism.
